Adding Divine Feminine Awareness

I grew up Catholic, and we weren’t taught about our divinity (any of us) or of a Divine Feminine… except that we were all created in the image and likeness of God. That mirror I looked in every day clearly showed I was definitely a woman. And then there’s that rosary and our prayer, “Hail Mary, Mother of God” … And I had a front-row seat to those pragmatic changes of Vatican II and all the other great awakenings of tha sixties. The addition of Divine Feminine awareness to my spirituality changed, expanded, opened everything. Celebrating the Feminine Spirit became my calling, passion, my WonderSpirit resources tagline. I’m a community resource person, teacher, and connector. I’m not alone.

Feminine-Celebrating books

Before moving here, I led summer beach book groups. They were held across from a coffee shop, beside a beach. It was a gathering of women who got into uncommon conversations. One of our reads was A Woman’s Worth, by Marianne Williamson. (Link includes quotes and notes from it.)

I’m drawn to open these uncommon conversation groups again (inside, though; not beach side). We can read pages to each other, and let conversations go where they lead us. Or pick a chapter you want to talk more about. (If you have your own book, bring it; if not, I have an extra someone can borrow to read from.) Dates: Tuesday or Wednesday afternoons, Time: 1-3 pm. Contact me to schedule a date when you’re interested.

The Goddess awakens in our hearts before she awakens in the world. We must notice that she exists. -Marianne Williamson

Not available, and interested? Start your own feminine spirit reading circle. I can also suggest additional books to consider.

Upcoming Online Summit

Also, there’s an upcoming online summit of speakers and related topics if any of this interests you. Sept 29 – Oct 3. Time is your investment. Resurrecting The Goddess Summit speakers and details. (I’m not part of this one; just sharing other voices and kindred spirits and connectors.)
