A Cherokee elder was teaching his children about life. He said to them, “A terrible fight is going on inside me. It is a fight between two wolves. One is a wolf of joy, love, hope, kindness, and compassion. The other is the wolf of fear, anger, cynicism, indifference and greed. The same fight is going on inside of you and every other person too.” The children thought about it for moment, and then one child asked, “Which wolf will win?” The elder replied, “Whichever one you feed.”

Two Wolves, in How many people does it take to make a difference?, Dan Zandra and Kobi Yamada, 2009.

Love and Fear… Whichever one you feed, will thrive. I suspect many of us feed them both.

How do YOU want to FEEL?

Feed that expectation, that desire, that anticipation.

Like driving a car, taking a road trip. Stay in your lane, listen to your GPS, take roads heading toward your destination.

As the driver, yes, be generally aware of surroundings as you’re traveling through, navigate detours-usually there are helpful signs; and use what’s in your control to make this road trip as enjoyable as you can. Dial the radio in to good traveling music, listen to a book on audio. Put your mind where it FEEDS what you want to feel. Love, Joy, Adventure, Freedom; or Fear and all it’s fun-busting fables.

Spirituality and Health are connected. Brain science, metaphysics, common sense, and everyday experience have shown that to most of us, very personally.

Feel-good Tools like Laughter and humor; getting lost in a good book; Mindful focus on now, this moment, Breathing calming deep breaths, and aromatherapy; Beliefs affect our feelings because they’re a lens and a filter of what gets through.

Personally, I love feeling good, happy, healthy, and optimistic. One place my spiritual path taken me is to The Law of Attraction and Abraham-Hicks. It resonated with much I already knew from experience and always reassures; and often puts an elevated perspective on whatever life stuff is swirling around. Their Facing Reality, for example, bears review these days for those like me who love feeling good, happy, full of life, optimistic, and reassured.

Blessings joy, laughter, and love to all. – Anne
