A few weeks back, I led a four-week course on essential oils. As I was putting together my outline and gathering resources, I happened upon this beautiful book, Aromatherapy for Sensual Living, while browsing in a book store. My course on oils wasn’t going to be the usual–and neither was this book. It was love at first sight. To understand oils and experience and apply them sensually and ceremonially; to touch mind body and soul in blessing, healing, and grace…anointing and ritual in the sacredness of our bodies and lives.
I brought the book each week of the course, and one week we all shared reading, out loud, this Sensual Living Manifesto, savoring. And how perfectly fitting each woman’s part turned out to be.
Sensual Living Manifesto
by Elana Millman, Aromatherapy for Sensual Living, is a free gift / download from the author that begins:
Here’s to flower kissers, life lovers, tree huggers, meditation sitters, yoga flexers, ceremony seekers, mushroom pickers, leaf smokers, ecstatic dancers, super food munchers, and rainbow riders. I bow to you on your path to oneness. The divine expresses itself through you and, darling, you’re beautiful.
I call forth all you beautiful bliss seekers to build a battalion of positive souls ready to beam their golden light into the world. We know that light eclipses the dark and we have infinite power to shine. In firmness, we spread our heartfelt iridescent love for all who are open to receive.
